Irvan A. Noe’man, Executive Creative Director of the Foundation Center, presenting trends prediction on the 2011 design is based on four life-style character who could be his inspiration, namely:

1. Technatura
With increasingly damaged environment, the discoveries of the more environmentally friendly glow. People have started environmentally conscious and seek products that fit with the pattern of thought. Environmentally friendly products became a trend. This thinking also cause a variety of inspiration, for ornament or textile batik inspired from nature and the environment, even the architecture is also the theme of nature.

Technology can be used to create products or designs that are inspired from nature. But production can not be fixed on the machine. Production in SMEs can also apply this concept by taking design inspiration from nature and the environment.

2. Replay
Key features of this concept is simple and fun. Technology can be personalized, such as creating branded shoes but with a choice of motifs and colors according to buyer tastes. But mass production could be personalized.
